The Rolex Deepsea pushes the bounds of modern watchmaking technology by offering an incredible depth-rating of up to 12,800 feet. To achieve this impressive waterproofness, Rolex equips their Oyster case with a triple-sealed Triplock screw-down crown, a Titanium screw-down case back, a thicker sapphire crystal, and a Helium Escape Valve. A larger 44mm case is required to accommodate these features. However, the addition of a Ring Lock System allows the case to maintain a thickness of under 18mm for a more comfortable hold on the wrist. The Deepsea ref. 116660 that you see here today is a newer preowned Rolex that also boasts a very desirable Chromalight display on the dial, a "Cerachrom" ceramic bezel insert, 904L Oystersteel, and an Oysterlock Glidelock clasp.
