pre owned Rolex Thunderbird "Turn-o-Graph" Datejust 116264
Rolex released their first serial-produced timepiece with a rotatable timing bezel in 1953 via the Datejust "Turn-o-Graph". Also referred to as the "Thunderbird", the Datejust Turn-o-Graph was issued to the pilots of the Thunderbird aerobatics team, making it an official military tool watch as well. As a Datejust timepiece, the Turn-o-Graph also features a 36mm waterproof Oyster case, a date mechanism on the dial, and a perpetual movement with self-winding technology. The ref. 116264 is a newer variation of the line that also features a White Rolesor finish of 18 karat white gold and 904L Oystersteel, a sporty red date wheel and seconds hand, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and a chronometer-rated calibre 3135 perpetual movement.
