Pre-owned Rolex GMT-Master II Ref 116713 (2008 - 2009) was a big deal when it hit the market. This was the first two-tone GMT-Master II to feature Rolex’s Cerachrom ceramic bezel, marking the beginning of the modern six-digit era for the collection. Up until then, GMTs had aluminum inserts. The upgrade to ceramic wasn’t just about looks, either. It meant a bezel that wouldn’t fade, scratch easily, or lose its color over time. It gave the GMT a sharper, glossier, more contemporary aesthetic. Made in yellow Rolesor, the combination of Oystersteel and 18k yellow gold gives this reference real presence without commanding the premium of a full gold watch. The black dial and black ceramic bezel keep it grounded, while the gold center links and bezel numerals add warmth and flash in just the right places. A great all-rounder.

After quite some time lurking on Bob's watches, I finally pulled the trigger and purchased a watch for my wife for Christmas. At the same time she got a GMT Master II for me. I could not be happier about the purchases. The watches arrived quickly and were in excellent condition. My wife Datejust steel/gold with diamonds watch had been advertised as being unworn, while may GMT Master II was also a recent model with the Cerachrom bezel and random serial. Both watches were absolutely mint. They were exact;y as advertised and in fact looked better in real life than they did in the photographs. The Rolex dealer to whom I took the watches for sizing was very complimentary. They look and feel great. Did I say that I was very happy :-) Perfect purchase!
