Rolex began production on the Datejust II in 2009. 5mm larger than the traditional 36mm Datejust, the Datejust II appeals to those who prefer a watch with a robust presence on the wrist. It's also important to note that while the 41mm case is substantially larger than its smaller predecessors, it's carefully designed not to overtake the wrist and will fit comfortably on most wrist sizes. If you're in the market for a larger Datejust watch, there are plenty of options available on the used Rolex market, including the sleek stainless ref. 116300. This variation pairs a 904L stainless steel finish with a contrasting black dial and a luminous display. With the addition of a larger case also comes a brand new movement in the form of the COSC certified calibre 3136.
