One of the most beloved variations of the Cosmograph Daytona is the Paul Newman, which is characterized by a tri-color dial in white, black, and red. While the modern ref. 116519 that we have listed here today is far from the Art Deco dial that was often seen on the wrist of the iconic actor and noted racing enthusiast; it certainly boasts some similarities in the form of an ivory dial, black subdials, and red accents. As a newer secondhand Rolex, the dial also displays the time via luminous baton hour markers and hands and is hermetically sealed via a screw-down case back and a Triplock screw-down crown. The case also features a white gold finish, adding value that will appeal to any serious collector. This ref. 116519 wears on a supple leather bracelet, giving it a versatile style that is just as suitable with jeans as it is with a business suit.
