Pre-Owned Rolex Sea-Dweller Deepsea 126660 D-Blue Dial
The Deepsea was introduced in the mid-2000s via ref. 116660 and was the first timepiece in the Rolex catalog to offer a depth rating of up to 12,800 feet. This depth is achieved via an innovative Helium Escape Valve, a thicker acrylic crystal, a triple-sealed waterproof Triplock screw-down crown, and a Ring Lock System. In 2014, Rolex celebrated the Deepsea's presence during director James Cameron's historic dive to the Mariana Trench by releasing a commemorative D-Blue dial edition, which is characterized by a striking blue gradient dial. The ref. 126660 is the latest variation of the James Cameron Rolex that came to market in 2018 and brought with it a new calibre 3235 perpetual movement with a more efficient Chronergy Escapement and a Paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring, a larger 44mm Oyster case, and a refined bracelet. As a newer preowned Rolex, the ref. 126660 also boasts a maxi dial filled with Chromalight luminous material, a Cerachrom ceramic bezel insert, and 904L Oystersteel.

I've been wanting a sea dweller since I bought my green submariner in 2004. I am so glad I waited until the 2018 deep sea version was developed. 44mm case will sand up to any pressure in saturation diving and feels great on my wrist. Glide lock clasp is micro adjustable and strong. Helium escape valve dumps helium accumulated during saturation diving. Bezel action is super smooth. Buying from Bob's is important as they can be trusted.
