The Rolex Yachtmaster in platinum and steel is the epitome of luxurious sports watch style. Developed in 1992, the line is a relatively newer addition to the Rolex catalog and boasts an impressive list of modern amenities such as a new-style Oyster case with more generously curved lugs, the use of a platinum maxi dial with a larger luminous display, and a striking sand-blasted platinum bezel with raised and polished graduations. The line was developed as a regatta timer and can be used to sync with race start times by adjusting the bezel to the race countdown. The pre-owned Rolex 16622 pairs the platinum bezel and dial with a brushed and polished stainless steel finish, creating what Rolex refers to as "Rolesium".

I had been looking for my next pre owned Rolex. I found Bobs out of the blue one day. Their prices were lower than anyone else I had been looking at. Once I got the Yachtmaster I was very very happy with the condition. It also had the Rolex box and papers.
Hands down the best watch I've ever bought! I love everything about it, from the unique platinum dial and the red details, to the high polish center links and luminous hour markers. I would recommend the 16622 to anyone considering a Yachtmaster.
