The Rolex Yacht-Master II is unlike any other sports watch in the brand's catalog, offering a much larger case measurement of 44mm and a sophisticated calibre 4161 perpetual movement, complete with an innovative Regatta fly-back feature. The purpose of the original Yacht-Master was to sync with Regatta start times. The Yacht-Master II still offers this function via a programmable command bezel that the wearer can utilize by turning the bezel counterclockwise and unscrewing the crown to its first position, thus allowing the wearer to set the dedicated hand to the race countdown. If you overshoot the Regatta countdown, a Flyback function allows the wearer to re-set on-the-fly. While the average collector won't necessarily use this function for sailing, it does add an interesting aesthetic to the watch that many collectors seek. If you've had your eyes set on the newest variation of the brand's Regatta timer, the used Rolex 116680 that we have listed here today is a great opportunity to snag your grail watch.
