Pre-owned Rolex Date ref 1500 (1974) sports a remarkable Sigma dial and an irresistible yellow gold design set. Sigma dials incorporate the Greek letter Sigma with the "T SWISS T" distinction to signify that the hour markers are made from gold. Although a small and seemingly insignificant detail, Sigma dials are considered charming in many watch-collecting circles and only add to the watch's fascinating story. The ref 1500 is a gold Date model, measuring 34mm in diameter. Developed in the 1970s, it also sports many classic vintage design elements, such as a rivet-link Oyster bracelet, acrylic crystal, and an older-style case.
