Description: Rolex Date 1505
Pre-owned Rolex Date ref 1505 (1972) is a fascinating edition of the iconic vintage Rolex dress watch. The champagne dial has a subtle vertical brushed texture and is decorated with gold door stop hour markers, matching yellow gold hands, a calendar display at 3 o'clock, and Tritium in a golden patina to match the rest of the dial. Just below the 6-hour marker is a Sigma distinction on either side of the "T SWISS T" text, which signifies the dial is decorated with gold. This feature is exclusive to older-model Rolex dress watches. Surrounding the dial on this ref. 1505 is a stunning yellow gold engine-turned bezel, which perfectly mirrors the retro dial's unique aesthetic. Ref. 1505 also features a desirable steel and gold finish, acrylic crystal, older-style riveted bracelet, and self-winding Perpetual movement.
