Pre-owned Rolex Date ref 15053 (1986) is a two-tone masterpiece outfitted with one of the most underrated Rolex bezels on the market - the engine-turned bezel. Modern Rolex dress watches are typically outfitted with smooth or fluted bezels. However, there was a time when the Rolex cannon also included this unique bezel, featuring a remarkable machined texture that lends itself to an entirely different aesthetic than other dress watches. It looks perfectly at home on this model, featuring a sportier three-link Oyster bracelet and a 34mm case. As a product of the late 1980s, collectors will also revel in the nostalgic design elements of this ref. 15053, including an acrylic crystal and Tritium that has since aged to a deep caramel patina.
