Rolex Datejust 116263 Turn-O-Graph
The men's Rolex reference 116263 is more than just a traditional Datejust watch. Also referred to as the "Thunderbird" or "Turn-o-Graph", this men's timepiece is also an important piece of Rolex watch history. Released in the 1950's, the Thunderbird was the first Rolex to offer a rotatable timing bezel. It was also the first Rolex sports watch to offer a two-tone finish, a feature that has since seen a modern upgrade with the addition of 904L steel and 18 karat yellow gold. The Datejust's iconic jump date is on display at the 3-hour marker along with yellow gold index hour markers and central hands filled with lume plots. A sapphire crystal and a Twinlock screw-down crown protect the dial and perpetual movement within for years of reliable readings. A 36mm Oyster case, and flat-link Oyster bracelet and an Oysterclasp hold secure for comfortable, all-day wear.
