Description: Rolex Datejust 16000
Pre-owned Rolex Datejust ref 16000 (1979) is the stainless steel and smooth bezel variation of the 16000 series of Datejust watches that Rolex began producing in the late 1970's. This particular men's Rolex will appeal to collectors who seek a versatile yet classic Datejust watch, thanks to the use of resilient stainless steel, a traditional 36mm Oyster case, a smooth bezel, and a five-piece link Jubilee bracelet. The Datejust 16000 is just as suitable at the office as it is dressed up for a formal occasion. Similar to other Datejust timepieces, this dress watch is powered by a self-winding movement and includes an automatically changing date display. A waterproof screw-down crown and protective crystal over the dial guards the case against water damage and other everyday wear and tear.

Had never shopped with Bobs and wasn't sure if their ratings of the vintage watches were going to be accurate. I purchased a 1978 vintage Datejust which they had described as excellent. The watch arrived and exceeded my expectations in every way. The jubilee bracelet has zero stretching, the silver face had faded slightly and was beautiful, the case was perfect. They obviously buffed or replaced the crystal as it too was flawless. Not many opportunities to say a business exceeded my expectations in this day and age, it is my pleasure to leave this review.
