What is a Rolex Thunderbird? At first glance, one might recognize the iconic jump date mechanism at the 3-hour marker and the Datejust logo. The Thunderbird is an extension of the Datejust dress watch series that also features a rotatable bezel. While traditional Datejust watches only feature smooth, fluted, or engine-turned bezel, the Thunderbird stands out with a 60-minute bezel. It also holds the title of the first Rolex watch to feature a rotatable bezel, outdating other tool watch staples such as the Submariner, GMT Master, and Explorer II. Reference 16264 is a classic take on the Datejust Thunderbird that also features a stainless steel case and bracelet, white gold bezel, and handsome silver dial.

This 1991 Rolex Datejust Turn-O-Graph arrived in excellent condition, with a white-gold rotating bezel which beautifully complimented the stainless steel case and jubilee bracelet. The watch was properly regulated to Rolex standards per my timegrapher. I am very pleased with this purchase.
