Pre-owned Ladies Rolex Datejust ref 279174 (2017) is a current-production model outfitted with every modern design element available to the Crown. The contemporary Lady-Datejust now sports a 28mm Oyster case, compared to its 26mm predecessors, a Twinlock waterproof screw-down crown, and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. On this model, the case is presented in 904L-grade Oystersteel with a glittering 18k white gold fluted bezel. It wears on Rolex's famous Oyster bracelet with solid links that drape comfortably around the wrist and an Oysterclasp with a convenient 5mm Easylink extension. The silver dial might be one of the most remarkable features on this women's Rolex because it displays the time with brilliant-cut diamonds in star-shaped settings and a diamond-encrusted "IX" marker.

My wife and I have worn Rolex Datejust watches for close to 40 years. This one we purchased earlier this week will replace the 2005 model that we will pass onto our daughter in recognition of earning her PHD. Rolex is one of those products that will never be questioned when owned...timeless, beautiful, reliable, and understated. Like all mechanical devices they need maintenance, eventually and that is OK!
