Pre-owned Rolex Day-Date ref 118208 (2000 - 2001) is a product of the early aughts and represents one of the first generations of modern Rolex Presidential watches. On the dial, we see a fully-lumed display instead of applied stick indices. Furthermore, the case is flanked by polished lugs to match the polished bezel and center links. Initially, the Day-Date was available with either a smooth or a fluted bezel when it came to market in 1956. However, the fluted variety would quickly become more commonplace. With the ref. 118208, Rolex has returned to its roots by surrounding the dial with a slightly less common smooth bezel. Even more remarkable is the dial, which is presented in a vibrant emerald green hue to contrast with the lustrous yellow-gold finish.
