Pre-owned Rolex Day-Date 36 ref 18308 (1995) is a fascinating variation of the gold Rolex Presidential. All the usual hallmarks of the collection are there, including the rounded, three-link bracelet, dual calendar displays on the dial, and the full gold finish. However, while the watch usually features polished center links, this example has a striking barked texture, with a barked bezel to match. The bezel is also decorated with brilliant-cut diamonds, directly above each hour marker. Looking at the dial, this model has a pyramid motif, which resembles the hobnail texture made popular in haute horlogerie. A truly remarkable edition of the famed Day-Date that you won't likely see on the wrists of passersby.
