Back in 2022, the Crown surprised us all after announcing that it would now produce every platinum Day-Date with a fluted bezel, a feature previously thought to be too difficult to machine on a commercial level. While we'll miss the trademark platinum smooth bezel, another hallmark remains, the icy blue dial, a watch face reserved exclusively for platinum Rolexes. Ref. 228206 couples both with the brand's most iconic bracelet, the President, with rounded, three-piece links. It also features the newer stick/Roman numeral dial configuration and the next-gen caliber 3255 with a Double Quickset and a longer power reserve. The ultimate wrist flex!
