Pre-owned Rolex Daytona ref 116515 (2011 - 2023). Ceramic bezels might seem like a staple of the Daytona collection now, but the iconic chronograph didn't receive the bezel upgrade until 2011. The first reference to sport the material, known as "Cerachrom," was the Everose Rolex 116515 for sale here. In addition to its aesthetic appeal, Cerachrom was a welcome upgrade due to its resilience and striking luster compared to the previous aluminum bezels. The Oysterflex strap didn't come about until a few years later, but it feels right at home on this Rolex with its contemporary black hue. The material, proprietary to Rolex, features a flexible nickel and titanium core surrounded by high-performance black elastomer. The underside offers optimal comfort via an innovative "longitudinal" design. Collectors also adore this model for the high contrast of the lustrous Everose finish and matching ivory dial. It's a standout watch with immense functionality and wrist presence.
