Pre-owned Rolex Daytona Ref 116523 (2000) is an original Rolex tool watch that came to market in the 1960s. Incredibly accurate, it eventually found a home among the fast-paced world of professional racecar driving where every second counts. More widely known for its roots as a driving watch, the watch has appeared on the wrists of several racing greats, such as actor and racing enthusiast Paul Newman and Formula 1 driver Sir Jackie Stewart. A classically elegant edition of the series is the ref. 116523, which features Yellow Rolesor, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, Triplock screw-down crown, and a 44-jewel perpetual movement. The 40mm Oyster case, gold Tachymeter bezel, and three-piece link Oyster bracelet offer a masculine fit on the wrist that is suitable for any occasion, formal or casual.
