An 18 karat yellow gold Tachymeteric bezel and coordinating subdials can be manipulated by the wearer to calculate speeds of up to 400 kilometers per hour, a necessary tool while racing around the Daytona speedway. Set against a contrasting black dial, the sub-dials, sweeping hands, and luminous baton hour markers provide a highly legible reading. The 40mm Oyster case, flat link Oyster bracelet, and Oysterlock clasp are constructed out of 904L stainless steel and 18 karat yellow gold. Patented by Rolex as "Yellow Rolesor", this combination of materials is suitable for the boardroom, the speedway, or a glamorous night out.
