Pre-owned Rolex Daytona ref 116595RBOW (2019). Rolex released the first Rainbow Daytona in 2012, initially with a white gold and a yellow gold model, both in incredibly limited quantities. We had to wait several more years for this Everose version to hit the market in 2018, and Rolex did not disappoint. The entire watch is cased in the Crown's proprietary Everose, an 18k rose gold alloy forged entirely in-house. It's warm, lustrous, and the perfect platform for the spectacular array of hand-set gems on display here. First is the case, which features 56 brilliant-cut diamonds along the lugs and crown guards. While the previous white and yellow gold Rainbow Daytonas also had a black lacquered dial, the hours were marked with diamonds. On the Everose model, Rolex has swapped the diamonds out for a rainbow of colorful sapphires, each mirroring the color of the 36 baguette-cut sapphires adorning the bezel. Completing it all is a trio of pink gold "crystal" sub-dials. This model pre-dates the 2023 Daytona update, so it's still powered by the famous caliber 4130, Rolex's very first in-house automatic chronograph movement.
