The contemporary Cosmograph Rolex Daytona chronograph is characterized by a masculine 40mm case, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, 904L stainless steel (known as Oystersteel), and an in-house Rolex Caliber 4130 Perpetual movement. The case is most often fitted with a flat three-piece link Oyster bracelet secured by a folding Oysterlock clasp, which gives the 6-digit Daytona an incredibly reliable and comfortable hold on the wrist. The ref. 116520 was the first Daytona to run on a movement designed and produced completely in-house, making it an intriguing and important piece of Rolex history. I just received my Daytona. Its a dream come true. I am a big race fan and have watched many accomplished drivers receive their Daytona on the podium. I will never get that chance but a guy can dream. Its my 60th this year and so I treated myself. I gave it to my wife to give back to me for my birthday. Win Win. The watch is in great shape with the box, hang tags and manuals. Since this is my first Rolex there was no way to get a brand new one (two year wait fro repeat customers) so I started looking. Bob's had a very fair price and offered me the watch I wanted in the condition I required with all the Rolex packaging. I shopped around and Bob's was the best.
