Pre-owned Rolex Sea Dweller 116660
The first Deepsea wristwatch was released in the late 2000s via the ref. 116660 that you see here today. In addition to offering a greater depth rating than any other timepiece in the Rolex catalog, the ref. 116660 also brought with it a modern case and bracelet. The case offers a substantial hold on the wrist without weighing it down and includes a 44mm diameter, a thickness of just under 18mm, a thicker 5.5mm sapphire crystal, and a lighter-weight Titanium case back. The case is also equipped with a Helium Escape Valve and a Triplock screw-down crown with three sealed zones, allowing it to withstand the pressures experienced at depths of up to 12,800 feet. The ref. 116660 wears on a flat-link Oyster bracelet closed by a folding Oysterlock clasp, which creates a balanced hold for the larger case size.
