This Submariner reference 116613 is an unforgettable addition to any sports watch collection. Luminous baton hour markers and diamonds set by expert gemologists adorn the dial of this striking sports watch. Sweeping "Mercedes" hands and the iconic date aperture are also present on the dial, adding to its classic Rolex design. Originally introduced in the 1950's as a divers watch, the Submariner comes equipped with several features to make it the perfect utility watch for underwater exploration. This includes the 60-minute Cerachrom bezel with a non-slip, unidirectional design. The 40mm Oyster case features a 3-part construction that involves screwing the case back and bezel to the Monobloc middle case. A Triplock screw-down crown is also included to offer waterproof protection for the calibre 3135 self-winding movement within up to 1,000 feet. The case is accompanied by a flat link Oyster bracelet with high polish center links and a folding Oysterlock safety clasp with a Glidelock extension system that can be adjusted without the use of tools to fit over wetsuits.
