Since then, this impressive model has gained a reputation for having a reliable and rugged design that is highly sought after by adventurers all over the world. 904L stainless steel is paired with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal for a resilient construction that is easy to maintain and polish. The 39mm Oyster case is built with a Twinlock screw-down crown to make it extremely waterproof to protect the intricately designed 3130 self-winding movement inside. The black Mark I dial is set with luminous hour markers that are designed to glow evenly for several hours, making the time visible in even the darkest environments.
