The Rolex Explorer celebrates functional yet luxurious design. Developed for mountaineers, the model is equipped with a tough Oyster case, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and a reliable Perpetual movement with self-winding. The dial is very easy to read and includes luminous plots set against a contrasting black dial. The Explorer also notably features a classy 36mm Oyster case, compared to the usual 40mm sports case, and a flat-link Oyster bracelet secured by a folding Oysterlock clasp. Rolex's iconic crown logo is prominently displayed on the dial, giving this ref. 114270 a slightly more elevated design that begs to be worn.
