Rolex Explorer 14270
The most notable attribute of the Rolex Explorer is its incredible history. A watch similar to the Explorer accompanied Sir Edmund Hillary as he reached the summit of Mount Everest. Shortly after his infamous conquest, Rolex set out to create the Explorer, a celebration of the adventurous spirit inside every world traveler. The main objective of this men's reference was optimal visibility and reliable timekeeping. The dial features a stark black hue and is often accompanied by luminous markers, similar to this reference set with lume baton and Arabic markers. The hands are also filled with lume for a legible reading. The case is hermetically sealed via a screw-down crown and further protected by a sapphire crystal and stainless steel.
