Pre-owned Rolex Explorer II Ref. 226570 (2025) was initially released in 2021, replacing the outgoing ref. 216570 and keeping many of the same design elements while introducing several notable upgrades. First is the movement, the caliber 3285, which boasts Rolex's patented anti-magnetic and anti-shock technology as well as an impressive 70-hour power reserve. Aesthetically, the changes were quite minimal yet important, retaining the same 42mm case while introducing a slimmer profile and lugs, the latter of which accommodate the new 22mm Oyster bracelet. Furthermore, the Explorer II is still available with either a black or white Polar dial, similar to the Rolex 226570 for sale here.
Was curious about what “Excellent” condition means at Bob’s. When the watch arrived, I was blown away by the quality of the polishing job of the watchmaker at Bob’s. For all intents and purposes the watch looked new unworn. I next put it on my Timegrapher to see how it well it was running and was super happy. While wearing it the past 3wks it runs pretty consistently at -1.5s/d well within the +-2s/d Rolex states. I am happy to add this to my collection and would not hesitate to buy another watch from Bob’s in the future.
