The very last of the original GMT Master collection, the ref. 16700 remains a prized collector's item. Interestingly, it continued production alongside its predecessor, the GMT Master II, for many years and remained a favorite among Rolex customers for its slightly more affordable price point. Its feature set is very characteristic of the iconic pilot's watch and includes such staple features as a red and blue two-tone Pepsi bezel, a black dial topped with Mercedes hands and a GMT hand, and a stainless steel finish.
