Pre-owned Rolex GMT Master ref 16700 (1993) was the last reference in the original Rolex GMT series. Rolex released it in the late 1980s and continued to produce the ref. 16700 for many years alongside its successor, the GMT Master II. For many, ref. 16700 was an affordable option that also offered the iconic Pepsi Rolex styling. Today, Rolex 16700 is a prized collector's item, both for its place in Rolex history and its classic red and blue bezel insert. The collection was famously developed for traveling, featuring dual-time capabilities, a luminous display on the dial, a waterproof Oyster case, and Perpetual movement with self-winding.
