Rolex GMT-Master 16700
The GMT Master ref. 16700 is an interesting piece of the model's history. The GMT Master II had already been released 5 years prior in 1983 when the ref. 16700 hit the market in 1988. This particular reference brought with it a sapphire crystal, a newly designed case, and white gold hour markers. Introduced around the same time as the GMT Master II ref. 16710, the ref. 16700 was a more affordable option for collectors who wished to add the iconic pilot's watch to their collection. The used Rolex that is for sale here today boasts classic style in the form of a stainless steel Jubilee bracelet and Oyster case with a contrasting black dial topped with lume and a matching black bezel.
