The first 5-digit GMT Master came to market in the early 1980s via stainless steel ref. 16750. The ref. 16753 that is presented here today is the two-tone variant of that line and is characterized by a handsome combination of stainless steel and 18 karat yellow gold. The case measures 40mm in diameter and features a contrasting black bezel with gold 24-hour graduations and a matching black dial set with luminous hour markers and Mercedes hands in yellow gold surrounds. This pre-owned Rolex wears on a Jubilee bracelet, giving it the aesthetic that many avid collectors seek. The GMT Master line was developed by Rolex in the 1950s as a pilot's watch and boasts dual-time capabilities that allow the wearer to read home and local time simultaneously.
