Only now, the top ring is constructed from ceramic Cerachrom, which is virtually scratch-resistant and fade-proof. Reference 116713 also features a harmonious blend of 18k yellow gold and 904L Oystersteel. The movement powering the watch is equipped with Rolex's patented Paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex shock absorbers for a smooth and reliable reading. Lastly, the case is equipped with both a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a Triplock waterproof screw-down crown.

After quite some time lurking on Bob's watches, I finally pulled the trigger and purchased a watch for my wife for Christmas. At the same time she got a GMT Master II for me. I could not be happier about the purchases. The watches arrived quickly and were in excellent condition. My wife Datejust steel/gold with diamonds watch had been advertised as being unworn, while may GMT Master II was also a recent model with the Cerachrom bezel and random serial. Both watches were absolutely mint. They were exact;y as advertised and in fact looked better in real life than they did in the photographs. The Rolex dealer to whom I took the watches for sizing was very complimentary. They look and feel great. Did I say that I was very happy :-) Perfect purchase!
