Rolex GMT Master II - Two-Tone
The GMT Master reference 16753 is a two-tone version of model 16750. Stainless steel and 18 karat yellow gold are combined to offer a durable watch that fits in effortlessly for casual or formal wear. This vintage sports watch features Rolex's infamous 40mm Oyster case with an acrylic crystal and a waterproof screw-down crown. The case is paired with an Oyster bracelet with high polish center links and a secure Fliplock clasp. The origins of the GMT Master go back to 1954 when the Pan Am Company worked with Rolex to create a tool watch for their pilots. The end result was a sports watch that included the addition of a 24-hour rotatable bezel and a 24-hour hand that could be used by the wearer to keep track of their home and local times, a feature that is still highly sought after today by professionals and avid collectors alike.
