Rolex GMT-Master II Ref 126710BLRO
This year at Basel World the stainless steel GMT Master II received an upgrade that was long overdue. Similar to the white gold 6-digit model that was announced in 2014, the newest GMT Master II ref. 126710BLRO boasts a Cerachrom bezel, which is wider and utilizes a tough ceramic insert that won't corrode or fade over time. This particular secondhand Rolex is also equipped with a next-generation calibre 3285 perpetual movement, complete with a Paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring and a Chronergy escapement with a skeletonized escape wheel for greater accuracy. The power reserve has also been upgraded to 70 hours, and the calibre 3285 has received an accuracy of -2/+2 seconds per day. The case measures a standard 40mm and wears on a five-piece link Jubilee bracelet, the first such instance of a Jubilee bracelet with a Cerachrom bezel on a GMT model.
