Although Rolex has played around with the idea of a left-hand GMT in the past, ref. 126720 marks the first time we've seen the vision come to life for commercial production. It's an exciting update, to say the least, that also brought us the first green and black ceramic bezel GMT Master II, which, until now, had stuck to the same classic blue, black, and red hues for decades. It's already picked up a few charming nicknames, too, including the Rolex Sprite and the Rolex Destro. You'll also notice that when Rolex flipped the crown to the left side of the case, the date followed, a move that has many collectors divided.
