The Rolex Milgauss is a versatile wristwatch that serves as both a functional tool watch and a sophisticated dress watch. The line was developed in the 1950s as an anti-magnetic tool watch, hence its name Milgauss. It boasts resistance to magnetic fields up to 1,000 gauss via an innovative soft-iron Faraday cage and also includes a waterproof screw-down crown, a resilient Oystersteel finish, and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. This feature set is resilient without sacrificing luxurious Rolex design, creating a versatile wristwatch that you can wear with confidence almost anywhere you roam. The ref. 116400 that you see here today is a newer edition of the Milgauss that features a stunning white dial adorned with a remarkable orange lightning bolt seconds hands and matching orange luminous baton hour markers.
*All Pre-Owned Rolex watches are guaranteed to be 100% genuine and certified authentic. All watches are shipped to fit the average size wrist (7 1/4" - 7 1/2" for men and 6 1/4" - 6 1/2" for women). Additional links can be purchased if needed.
I am halfway through the Milgauss Slam and I have to say I like the new Milgausses because they have the whimsy of vintage Rolexes but are very much modern watches. This should make them easier to care for. Each of the four Milgausses is different, to me the white is sporty while the green crystal is actually a dressy watch. I’ve only seen the black dial in person once and it looks more like a classic 1019. The blue crystal is very contemporary. There’s one -or four- for everyone.
Received by watch within a few days of ordering and it looks great. Bob's did a good job cleaning it up. I can't tell it's pre-owned.
