The Milgauss is an interesting member of Rolex's professional series of watches. Unlike most of the sports watches in the brand's catalog, the case does not offer a rotatable bezel and utilizes a time-only movement. On the other hand, the case is large, measuring 40mm and features a design that appeals to a specific profession, similar to other sports models. Many collectors will agree that the Milgauss is the perfect balance between a sports and a dress reference. As its name would suggest, the used Rolex Milgauss boasts incredible anti-magnetic properties, allowing the movement to withstand up to 1,000 gauss. To protect the movement, Rolex envelopes it within a Faraday cage that utilizes a ferromagnetic shield. This creates the perfect tool watch for those who work in high magnetic fields, such as doctors, power plant workers, and scientists. The particular ref. 116400 that is presented here today is an anniversary Rolex, featuring a sapphire crystal in the company's signature green hue.

I was very afraid to buy at the beguining but icouldnt find the rolex that i wanted with papers here in nj , so i took a chance. Got it the next day, took it to rolex boutique to authenticate , came out 100 %great!! So far ,Very happy with my purchase.
The green crystal makes this watch. Very stylish Oyster band in stainless steel, which is a must. Gives it a more manly look. Happy with the service and the quick shipping.
