Pre-Owned Rolex Oyster 6222 - Aged Ivory Dial
Rolex invented the waterproof Oyster case in 1926, after which all waterproof watches produced by the brand displayed the name "Oyster" somewhere on the dial. These timepieces run on a manual winding movement and are not to be confused with the more commonly found Oyster Perpetual, which utilizes a self-winding movement. The Rolex Oyster is a rarer timepiece and will add immense history to any watch collection. The preowned Rolex that is presented here today features a modest 34mm Oyster case as well as a protective acrylic crystal over the dial and an older-style Oyster bracelet with fold-over links and a Fliplock clasp. The dial has aged nicely over the years and features classic index hour markers, elegant dauphine hour and minute hands, and a blue seconds hand.
