Rolex Submariner 16803 - Transitional
A notable addition to the Submariner family, the reference 16803 was one of the first Submariner watches to include a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a two-tone combination of steel and 18 karat yellow gold. This reference was only in production for a short time, from around 1984 to 1988, making it a highly collectable addition to the Rolex lineup. Originally designed as a tool for professional divers, the Submariner is built with the ability to withstand depths of up to 1,000 feet. That, combined with a unidirectional 60-minute timing bezel, creates the perfect tool watch for land and sea adventures alike. The 40mm waterproof Oyster case is paired with an Oyster bracelet with 18 karat yellow gold center links and an Oysterlock clasp for a secure and comfortable fit. Rolex's calibre 3035 self-winding movement beats within the case to provide a reliable reading.
