The Rolex 6466 OysterDate is distinguished by a hand-wound movement instead of Rolex's trademark Perpetual movement with automatic winding. It also doesn't boast Rolex's standard COSC rating. However, the movement driving this remarkable vintage Rolex is still highly reliable, as Rolex has noted on the dial with the distinction "Precision." It's a unique piece of Rolex history that is widely sought-after by die-hard collectors. Ref. 6466 is also an excellent gateway into vintage Rolex ownership because it boasts a very attractive price. Other features include a stainless steel finish, a matching silver dial decorated with gold indices and hands, an older-style acrylic crystal, and a desirable 30mm mid-size case.
