Pre-Owned Rolex OysterQuartz Day-Date 19018
The OysterQuartz series has been in production since the Quartz crisis of the 70's and 80's. During a time when Quartz movements were in high-demand, Rolex developed their OysterQuartz line in an attempt to survive the steady decline in mechanical watch sales. The result is a distinct line of watches that are characterized by an angular integrated bracelet and a Rolex calibre Quartz movement. The men's Day-Date ref. 19018 is a unique variation, as these watches are more easily found in Datejust variations. Similar to other Day-Date watches, the dial displays both the date and the day spelled out in full at the 3 and 12-hour markers. This particular vintage used Rolex also presents in a striking gold finish.
