Used Rolex Sea-Dweller Deepsea Model 116660
Rolex developed the Deepsea in 2008 via ref. 116660. Thanks to a new case design that includes a thicker acrylic crystal, a Helium Escape Valve, and a Ring Lock System, the Deepsea is capable of traveling to depths as far as 12,800 feet below the surface of the sea. The average Rolex collector will never dive this deep. However, the innovative features that allow the case to withstand such depths are enough to win over almost any horology buff. Additionally, the depth-rating results in a larger 44mm Oyster case and a new-style Oyster bracelet, creating a robust yet still very wearable sports watch. As a newer pre-owned Rolex, the Deepsea also boasts a maxi dial with a larger luminous display in white gold surrounds, 904L Oystersteel, and a unidirectional time-lapse bezel with a Cerachrom ceramic bezel insert.
