Pre-owned Rolex Sea-Dweller Deepsea ref. 136660 (2023) was introduced in 2022, replacing the previous ref. 126660 and bringing with it several important upgrades. First, there is the bezel, which is now slightly thinned out to showcase the crystal. Additionally, the date display has been enlarged by 8% to make it easier to read and create a better balance on the dial, and the case back, which still features flexible titanium, has been re-branded as Rolex's proprietary RLX titanium. Rolex also claims to have improved the Chromalight material on the dial and has removed the famed Glidelock clasp from the bracelet, a feature initially added to allow the wearer to fit their bracelet over a wetsuit without the use of tools. Aside from those upgrades, its aesthetics remain largely the same: the robust 44mm stainless steel case, option for a black or James Cameron dial, and Oyster bracelet.
