Pre-owned Rolex Sea-Dweller ref 116600 (2014) was the first 6-digit model, and the first Sea-Dweller outfitted with a ceramic bezel instead of aluminum. This model is not to be confused with the similarly numbered Deepsea ref. 116660, which has a greater depth rating (3,900 meters) and a much larger 44mm case. Ref. 116600 is a Sea-Dweller. The case is rated waterproof to 4,000 feet/1,220 meters and has a much more approachable 40mm diameter. This watch is often compared to the Submariner, which is also 40mm in diameter but less water-resistant (300 meters). Furthermore, ref. 116600 has a full set of minute hashes around the bezel, and the crystal is missing the usually present Cyclops magnifier. Rolex produced this model for only 3 years, replacing it in 2017 with the 43mm Sea-Dweller featuring a Cyclops over the date.
Excellent watch. I bought mine in 2016 at a discount as it was just discontinued. A 21/2 year run of production makes a scarce watch with good value and potential for increase in value. Before my 116600 I wore a 2014 BLNR. Since I purchased the SD11660, it has become my daily watch! It’s the perfect Sea Dweller!!!!

Absolutely pristine condition, ceramic bezel gives it a very premium look, 40mm a good choice for my wrist, given thickness and weight.
All the modern, Rolex pluses, without the over-sized case nor the newer, maxi-lugs. The bracelet is a dream.
The 116600 is the sleeper hit for Rolex. For me it is the perfect example of a modern, capable, steel Rolex. If you're only going to own one sports Rolex this is it.
