The first two-tone Submariner came to market in the 1980s and was very well received by collectors of all budgets. Previously, the model was only offered in either stainless steel or yellow gold. Thanks to the addition of a steel and gold variant, collectors who desired a gold Rolex could now purchase one at a much more affordable price. The ref. 116613 is the newest variation of the two-tone Sub and is offered in what the brand refers to as Yellow Rolesor, a combination of 904L-grade Oystersteel and 18 karat yellow gold forged in-house. This finish is crafted from the finest metals the world has to offer and will not easily fade, scratch, or corrode. As a newer used Rolex the ref. 116613 also utilizes the brand's highly resilient Cerachrom ceramic bezel insert as well as a maxi dial with a larger luminous display.

I owned a Rolex Datejust and decide that I wanted to trade it in for a Submariner. I checked locally but couldn't find the right model. I found several on Bob's website and called and received outstanding service. Not only was the watch I chose to be in outstanding condition but the trade-in price was at least $500 more than I was offered locally. I probably saved over $1500 with the total transaction than anywhere else I looked. The whole process was very efficient and took about three days from the time i sent my watch in for evaluation until I was wearing my submariner.
