ROLEX SUBMARINER 168000
Shortly after the production of the Submariner 16800, Rolex released the reference 168000. Considered by many as a transitional model, this reference was only produced for about 9 months and included an upgraded 904L stainless steel and a newer case. Much like its predecessor, this reference also includes features that were considered new at the time, such as a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and an increased resistance of up to 1,000 feet. Its design remains classic with a 40mm Oyster case outfitted with a black unidirectional bezel and a dial set with luminous hour markers and sweeping "Mercedes" hands. A matching steel Oyster bracelet with flat, brushed links and a folding Oysterlock clasp creates a versatile timepiece for all walks of life. Due to its short production run, this sports watch is a rare find.
