Pre-owned Rolex Submariner ref 124060 (2024) is the latest variation of the "No Date" model. While the 3 o'clock date has become a fixture of the Submariner collection, there are still models out there with a clean, time-only dial that bring the mighty Sub back to its professional dive watch roots. Back in 2012, Rolex released ref. 114060, the first No Date model to sport a ceramic bezel. It had robust lugs, a larger crown guard, and larger "Maxi" hour markers and hands. Ref. 124060 replaced that model in 2020, bringing with it a slightly larger 41mm case, some more refined proportions, and the next-generation caliber 3230 with a longer 70-hour power reserve. At the same time, this watch is still a professional diver, boasting 300 meters of water resistance, a safer unidirectional bezel with a luminescent 12 o'clock pip, and luminescent hour markers and hands.

This is the one I always wanted. Box, papers, hang tag, the whole thing. Fast shipment. Financially things worked out for me to finally own one. I have been wearing a 50 year old Datejust that has been refurbished by Sotheby's. That old classic is gonna have to take a rest for a while. Bob's is highly recommended by me, Bob. Naturally!
