Rolex Datejust 16253 Thunderbird
The Rolex Thunderbird Datejust offers the functionality of a sports watch with the look and feel of a fine luxury dress watch with a rotatable timing bezel and a classic Rolex design. Launched in 1953, the Thunderbird Datejust was the first Rolex watch to offer a rotatable timing bezel, making it the first Rolex tool watch. The reference 16253 that is offered here today pairs the Turn-o-Graph bezel with an elegant champagne tapestry dial and a blend of stainless steel and 18 karat yellow gold. The case is offered in a standard 36mm size and is equipped with an acrylic crystal and a waterproof screw-down crown. A Jubilee bracelet with high-polish center links and a Fliplock clasp accompanies the case, creating a supple fit that drapes comfortably around the wrist.
